The Dreamfare planner

AI Itinerary Planner for Real, Bookable Trips

Dreamfare's AI itinerary planner turns a sentence about the trip you want into a flexible day-by-day itinerary built around real places, with the times, the map and the booking links attached.

Uses your plan or Stardust allowance. Check access in the app.

Seven days in Japan in April. Mid budget, we care about food and nightlife, and we want one properly strange thing every day.

Four nights in Tokyo, three in Kyoto, with the shinkansen on day five. Nightlife on the Tokyo nights, early starts in Kyoto, and I have kept the afternoons light where the travel is long.

What comes back

Two days out of the seven

Not a list of famous places. Named venues, at times that work, in an order that respects where they are, with the reason each choice was made sitting next to it.

Day 3

Tokyo, west side

  • 10:30Shimokitazawa second-hand streetsMost shops open at eleven, so this is a slow start on purpose
  • 13:00Shin-UdonQueue before one or wait forty minutes
  • 19:30Golden GaiNightlife block, most bars seat six people and charge a cover
  • 23:00Hotel in ShinjukuFour nights, walkable from the last stopBook

Day 4

Day trip, and the strange thing

  • 08:10Train to KamakuraOne hour, so the morning stop is deliberately empty
  • 11:00Hokokuji bamboo groveCloses at four, which is why it is not an afternoon stop
  • 18:00Standing sushi counter in EbisuBack in the city, cheap, no reservation
Day four opens empty on purpose, because the train is an hour.

Why the day looks like that

  • Second-hand shops open at eleven, so the morning starts slowly.
  • The bamboo grove closes at four, so it cannot be an afternoon stop.
  • Kamakura is an hour away, so nothing is scheduled before the train.
  • The bar block is a ten-minute walk from the hotel, at eleven at night.

Then you argue with it

Make day four cheaper. Swap the sushi for something vegetarian. We land at two, not nine. Each of those rewrites the part it touches and leaves everything else alone.

How it works

From a sentence to a booked trip

  1. 1

    Say what the trip is

Where, how long, roughly what budget and what you actually like. Plain sentences, not a form. Seven days in Japan, mid budget, food and nightlife, one strange thing per day.

  2. 2

    The planner builds real days

It picks named venues that exist, gives them times, keeps them inside opening hours, leaves room to get between them, and puts a stay under the nights.

  3. 3

    Change whatever is wrong

Move a stop, retime a day, ask for a cheaper evening or a slower morning. The plan is a document you edit, not an answer you accept.

  4. 4

Book the parts that are bookable

Stays and activities carry live prices and partner links on the stop itself, and booked things get marked so everyone can see what is settled.

Why it holds up

Six things a paragraph of text cannot do

  • Venues that exist, on a map

Every stop is a real place with an address and coordinates, so a day can be checked by looking at it. A plan that crosses the city four times shows that before you live it.

  • Times that survive contact with reality

Plans are checked for stops that overlap, days with no travel time between them, stops scheduled while the venue is shut, the same place twice, and public holidays that close things.

  • An itinerary you can edit like a document

Drag a stop to another day, change a time, delete the museum. Ask in words instead: make day two cheaper, add a beach afternoon, we are arriving late now.

  • Prices attached to the plan

Stays and activities are searched with live prices and attached to the day they belong to. Booking happens through the partner link on the stop, and Dreamfare shares part of the commission back as travel credit.

  • Everyone else can get in

Invite the people coming and they edit the same trip, chat on it and vote on the stops nobody can agree about.

  • It starts from what you saved

Places you saved, tips you kept, trips you liked and your home city all feed the plan, so a first draft already looks like your kind of trip.

Compared

How to judge any AI itinerary planner

Layla, Mindtrip, Canva's trip planner and Dreamfare will all hand you a day-by-day plan in under a minute. The plan is not where they differ; what happens to it afterwards is. Ask each one the same four questions.

Can you move a stop?

A plan you cannot drag is a suggestion. Here every stop is a real venue you can move to another day, swap for one you saved, or delete, and the timing re-checks itself.

Can a friend edit it?

Invite the people going and they get the same trip, with a chat and votes attached to it, rather than a screenshot of your plan in a group thread.

Does the stay link to a real room?

Stays and tours carry the partner's live price and a booking link, so the number on the plan is the number at checkout, not an estimate typed by a model.

Does it remember you next time?

The places and tips you save, and the preferences you state once, shape the next plan too. A planner that starts from zero every trip is a search box with better manners.

What it will not do

It does not book anything for you, it does not invent venues to fill a gap, and it does not pretend to know a restaurant's availability tonight. Prices shown are the partner's current quote and are only final on the partner's own site.

Where the first draft comes from

The more you have saved, the less generic the first attempt is. Places kept from videos and articles, tips you saved, trips you liked and your home city all feed it. The personalization page lists exactly which signals are used and how to clear them.

Prefer to plan in ChatGPT or Claude?

The same trips are reachable from both, through the Dreamfare connector. Plan in the chat you already use, and the itinerary lands in Dreamfare as a real trip with a map, a crew and booking links.

Questions people ask

How is this different from asking a chatbot for an itinerary?
A chat answer is text. This one is a trip: the stops are real venues with coordinates, the timing is checked against opening hours and travel time, the days sit on a map, the stay and the tours carry live prices and booking links, and other people can edit it with you. You can also do both, because Dreamfare connects to ChatGPT and Claude.
Can it plan an itinerary to a budget?
Yes. Tell it the budget and the pace and it picks a stay and activities to match, with the price on every stay and tour so you can see where the money goes and swap anything. A destination and a rough length is enough to start; what you eat, who is coming, and the places or tips you saved from videos and articles all make the plan better, and it plans around the saved ones first.
Can it plan a multi-city trip?
Yes. Days can move between cities, and the travel between them becomes part of the plan rather than a gap you discover later. Long transfers are treated as stops so the day around them is not overfilled.
What if I hate the plan it gives me?
Tell it what is wrong in a sentence and it rewrites that part. Nothing is regenerated wholesale unless you ask, so the four stops you liked stay where they were.
Does it book anything on my behalf?
No. Booking always happens on the partner's own site, through the link on the stop, with your own details. Dreamfare records what you booked so the trip stays accurate and everyone can see what is settled.
Is there a free AI itinerary planner?
Yes. Dreamfare's planner is free to try: every account gets a monthly Stardust allowance that covers AI plans and imports, with Premium for more. AI planning and imports use your account's current plan or Stardust allowance. The app shows access, available credits and action costs. Premium offers a free trial where available; check the current offering and renewal terms before subscribing. Building trips by hand, saved places, invites, maps and partner booking links are always free.

Describe the trip. Get the days.

One sentence about where and how long is enough to start. Everything after that is editing.
