Dreamfare for Instagram
Instagram Trip Planner: Turn Reels Into Trips
Dreamfare is the Instagram trip planner that turns saved Reels into real places on a map, then into an organized itinerary you can edit with friends and book from your phone.
One free import. No account needed. Your results stay here for 7 days.
Restricted account? Import a screenshot of the Reel instead.

The problem
A saved collection is a wish, not a route
Instagram is very good at making you want to go somewhere and completely uninterested in helping you get there. Saves live in a grid with no names. Captions get truncated. The account you found in November is impossible to search for in March. And a Reel is edited for rhythm, so five places that felt like one afternoon can be three hundred kilometers apart.
Saved
A grid of covers. No place names, no map, no way to sort by city.
Screenshot
The caption card you photographed, now buried in a camera roll of four thousand photos.
Group chat
Twelve Reels sent to three friends, none of whom opened them.
How it works
One Reel at a time, until it is a trip
- 1
Open the Reel you saved
Go to your saved collection, not your camera roll. The Reels you kept for a reason are the ones worth unpacking first.
- 2
Share it to Dreamfare
Tap the paper plane, then Dreamfare. If the Reel is from an account that blocks sharing, a screenshot of it works instead.
- 3
Keep the places that matter
You get the venues the Reel named, matched to real addresses. Keep the ones you want, and they file into your library with the tips attached.
- 4
Ask for the route
When you have a few, ask the planner to order them into days. Places that are far apart stop being a surprise you discover on arrival.
What a link can and cannot carry
Instagram gives out less public detail about a post than other platforms do, so an Instagram import leans harder on the caption and on what the Reel itself says and shows. Stories, Highlights and posts from private accounts are not public and cannot be read from a link at all. Screenshots cover those cases, and they cover the account that turned sharing off.
A real example
A south coast Reel becomes a route with driving in it
One Reel, three waterfalls, a black sand beach and a coffee bus. Beautiful in ninety seconds, and completely silent about the two hundred kilometers between the first shot and the last.

Built for how Instagram actually works
Four things that only matter on this platform
The share sheet, not a copy button
Reels are shared, rarely copied. Tap the paper plane and pick Dreamfare and the import starts by itself, with the caption text that came along for the ride.
A screenshot counts as a link
Some accounts restrict sharing, and Instagram hands out less public detail about a post than other platforms do. Screenshot the Reel or the caption and import that instead. The same reader finds the places in it.
Collections stay collections
Import several Reels for one city and they stack into one folder in your saved places, in the order you added them, rather than into competing draft trips.
Creator recommendations stay attributed
Each saved place keeps a link back to the Reel and the account it came from, so you can rewatch the clip or send the creator on to a friend.
Once the places are yours
The part Instagram was never going to do
See the shape of the trip
Reels are shot in an order that suits the edit, not the road. On a map, a five-stop south coast run and a stop that is secretly four hours north look different at a glance.
Distances before the deposit
Ordering the places into days is where you find out the day is too long. It is a much cheaper place to find out than the rental counter.
Real addresses, not a vibe
Every name is matched to a venue with coordinates. Anything that stays a phrase gets left out instead of dropped on the map near where it might be.
The reason you saved it
The line that sold you on the place is kept next to it. Six weeks later, the note explains why a waterfall you have never heard of is on day one.
Compared
Instagram trip planner apps, side by side
There is more than one way to get from a saved Reel to a trip, and the differences are in what you are holding at the end.
Expedia Trip Matching
Send a travel Reel to Expedia's Instagram account and it replies with trip ideas for that destination, with stays you can book on Expedia. It is free and it is quick. What comes back is Expedia's suggestion for the place, not the places in the Reel, and the exchange stays on Instagram.
Dreamfare
The same Reel becomes the places it actually shows, saved to a library, pinned on a map and dropped into a trip you and your friends can edit. Stays and tours carry live prices from whichever partner has them, the plan lives in the app rather than a thread, and TikTok and YouTube saves land in the same trip.
Send the trip, not twelve Reels
Invite whoever is coming and they get the same stops on the same map, with a chat attached to the trip instead of scattered across three group threads. They can add their own finds, and votes settle the arguments that a chat never does.
Book the stay the Reel was filmed at
Search stays and activities with live prices, attach the one you pick to the right night, and book through the partner link on the stop. Dreamfare shares back part of the commission as travel credit, so the research pays a little of the trip back.
Questions people ask
- Can Dreamfare read my whole saved collection at once?
- No, and that is on purpose. Reels come in one share at a time, so you decide which ones are actually part of this trip. Most people work through a collection in a few minutes and end up with one folder of places rather than fifty.
- What about Stories and Highlights?
- Those are not public posts, so they cannot be imported from a link. Screenshot the frame that names the place and import the screenshot instead, which is the same path people use for restricted accounts.
- Why does an Instagram import sometimes find less than a TikTok one?
- Instagram hands out less public information about a post to anyone who is not signed in to that account, so an Instagram link starts from a thinner base than a TikTok one does. Captions with real names still come through well, and a screenshot fills the gap when a link comes back light.
- Do the creators know I saved their place?
- No. Nothing is posted, liked or sent on your behalf. The link back to the Reel is stored with your saved place so you can find it again, and imported places never reveal who imported them.
- Is this an itinerary or just a list?
- Both, in that order. Places land in your library first. Turning them into days is a separate step you ask for, so the plan is built once you have enough spots rather than after every single Reel.
- Is there an Instagram trip planner app?
- Yes. Dreamfare is on iOS and Android, and the Instagram share sheet is the way in: share a Reel to Dreamfare and the import starts. Every account gets a monthly Stardust allowance that covers imports and AI plans, so the first Reels cost nothing. AI planning and imports use your account's current plan or Stardust allowance. The app shows access, available credits and action costs. Premium offers a free trial where available; check the current offering and renewal terms before subscribing. Everything you do with the places afterwards is free: building the trip, the map, inviting people and the booking links.
