TikTok Trip Planner: Turn Travel Videos Into Trips

Dreamfare is the TikTok travel planner that turns a saved video into real places: share it from TikTok, get every spot it shows pinned on a map, and turn them into a day-by-day trip you can plan and book from your phone.

One free import. No account needed. Your results stay here for 7 days.

Also reads YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Reddit links.

Plan a trip with these

The problem

Saving a video is not the same as remembering a place

A TikTok save folder is a pile of thirty-second clips with no names, no addresses and no order. The trip is in there somewhere. Getting it out by hand means rewatching each one, pausing on the caption card, searching the venue, and pasting it into a note that nobody else can see.

30s

is long enough to sell you on a restaurant and far too short to tell you where it is.

Comments

are where the name usually ends up, three hundred replies down, under someone asking where this is.

Later

is when you find out the viewpoint and the bakery are on opposite sides of the city.

How it works

From a share sheet to a plan, in four steps

  1. 1

    Share the video to Dreamfare

Tap Share on the TikTok, then Dreamfare. On the web, paste the link instead. Either way you never leave the video to copy anything.

  2. 2

    Dreamfare reads it

The caption, the video itself and the comment thread all get read for place names, then each name is matched against a real venue with an address.

  3. 3

    Check what came back

You get a list of places with their neighborhood and what the video said about them. Keep the ones you want, drop the rest.

  4. 4

    Turn them into days

Ask the planner to build days around the spots you kept, or drop them into a trip you already started. The map does the geography for you.

A real example

One Lisbon TikTok, four places, a two-day plan

A creator posts a fast Lisbon roundup. The caption names one place, the edit flashes another on screen, and the bakery only gets named when they answer a comment. Here is what that video looks like going in, and coming out.

Before

What you actually have: a saved video and a note you stopped updating.

notes · lisbon

  • lisbon tiktok (the tram one)
  • viewpoint w/ the pine trees??
  • bakery from the comments
  • which market was it
  • book something soon

After

Four matched places, then two days that respect the map.

  • Time Out MarketCais do Sodre

Named in the caption. Go on a weekday, the weekend line is brutal.

    4.4 on Google

  • Miradouro da Senhora do MonteGraca

The viewpoint in the opening shot. Best light about an hour before sunset.

  • Pasteis de BelemBelem

The creator answered a comment asking where the custard tarts were from.

    4.5 on Google

  • Tram 28 at Martim MonizMouraria

Board at the start of the line, which is the part the video actually shows.

Each place keeps the tip the video gave and a link back to it.

What gets read

Four passes over one video

A travel video hides its useful parts in four different places. Dreamfare reads all four, and treats the least trustworthy one with the most suspicion.

  • The caption and the tags

The first pass is the text the creator wrote and any location tag attached to the post. Short captions are normal, which is why it does not stop there.

  • What the video says and shows

Spoken audio and on-screen text get read too, so a place that only appears as a caption card in the edit still comes through.

  • The comments, carefully

Creators leave the name out of the caption and answer it in the replies. A name is only accepted when the creator wrote, pinned or liked the comment, or when two unrelated accounts say the same thing.

  • A real place, not a phrase

Every name is matched against a venue with an address, a neighborhood and coordinates. Anything that stays a vague phrase is dropped rather than pinned somewhere plausible.

Where it stops

A video that names nothing and shows nothing recognizable gives nothing back, and Dreamfare says so rather than inventing a plausible restaurant. Private, deleted and region-blocked posts cannot be read at all. Spoken audio and on-screen text depend on what the post makes publicly available.

After the import

Places you keep, not a trip you have to accept

Imports file spots into your library first and build days second. That order matters: five videos about the same city should become one good trip, not five competing drafts.

  • Everything lands in a folder

One import, one folder in your saved places, named after the destination. Import five Lisbon videos and they stack up in the same library instead of five half trips.

  • The advice comes with them

Go before nine, cash only, skip the weekend. Tips the video gave are saved next to the place and resurface when a trip goes there.

  • The source stays attached

Each place keeps a link back to the video it came from, so you can rewatch the ten seconds that sold you on it.

  • Share the result, not the links

Invite whoever you are going with and they see the same stops on the same map, instead of a chat full of forwarded videos.

Made for the phone you saw it on

The whole loop happens where TikTok already is. Share the video without switching apps, watch the import land, and see the places on a map you can pan with a thumb. The iOS and Android apps are the same account as the web, so a link you shared from the couch is open on your laptop a minute later.

Then book the parts you can book

Stays and activities can be searched with live prices and attached to the right day, and every bookable stop carries a partner link. Book through it and Dreamfare shares back part of the commission as travel credit. The video gave you the idea, the trip gives you the reservation.

Questions people ask

Does it work from the TikTok share sheet?
Yes, and that is the fastest way in. Tap Share on the video and pick Dreamfare, and the import starts on its own. On a computer, paste the link into Dreamfare. Share text with the link buried inside it works too.
What if the creator never says the name of the place?
That is the normal case, and it is why the comments are read as well. A name is only trusted when the creator backed it, when two unrelated accounts named it independently, or when it resolves to a venue near the destination that matches what the footage shows. If nothing clears that bar, the place is left out rather than guessed at.
Does it work for photo posts and long videos?
TikTok photo posts and standard videos both import, as do YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Reddit links. A private, deleted or region-blocked post cannot be read by anyone who is not signed in to that account, so those fail instead of returning a half result.
Is there a free TikTok trip planner app?
Yes. Dreamfare is free to download on iOS and Android, and every account gets a monthly Stardust allowance that covers a few video imports and AI plans, so you can try it on a real video before paying anything. AI planning and imports use your account's current plan or Stardust allowance. The app shows access, available credits and action costs. Premium offers a free trial where available; check the current offering and renewal terms before subscribing. Making trips, saving places, inviting friends and using booking links never need a paid plan.
Does Dreamfare download or repost the video?
No. Only public metadata is read, nothing is stored as media, and every imported place links back out to the original video so the creator keeps the credit.
Can I fix a place it got wrong?
Yes. The places are yours once they are saved: rename them, delete them, move them between folders, or add one it missed by searching for it. Nothing is locked to the import it came from.
