How earning works

When a traveler books through Dreamfare, the travel partner pays us a commission. We split it with the people who made that booking happen. This page shows the whole structure. For the wallet side, spending, pending credit and cash-outs, see how travel credit works.

Where the money comes from

Flights, stays, activities and trains are booked on partner sites through Dreamfare links. Partners pay us a commission for the referral. The traveler’s price never changes; every share below comes out of our commission, not anyone’s pocket.

How each booking splits

Of the commission Dreamfare receives on a booking:

• 30% goes to the trip author, the traveler who published the trip the booking came from.
• 20% goes to the booker as cashback for booking through Dreamfare links.
• 10% goes to the video creator when the trip was imported from a video whose creator has claimed their handle.
• Dreamfare keeps the rest.

A share only pays out when that role is filled. No published source, no author share. No claimed handle, no creator share. Unfilled shares stay with Dreamfare. Booking your own published trip or your own imported video’s trip pays no author or creator share; those are for bringing other travelers. Rates are current as of the date above; if they change, this page changes with them.

Trip authors

Publish a trip and you earn the author share on every qualifying booking, whether it happens straight from your trip page or from a copy someone made with Book or Remix. Remixed copies stay linked to you even after edits. Attribution goes one step: if someone republishes a remix of your trip, bookings from their page pay them, and your trip stays credited in the remix lineage.

Video creators

If your travel videos have been imported into Dreamfare trips, those trips can pay you. Claim your handle by proving you own it, and from that moment every qualifying booking on a trip born from one of your videos sends you the creator share. That includes trips imported before you claimed. Editing, remixing, or rebooking the trip doesn’t break the link back to your video.

Premium spot unlocks

Verified creators tag exact locations as premium spots. Every time a traveler spends an unlock on one of your spots, you earn a fixed amount, currently $0.50 per unlock, credited straight to your wallet. Spot earnings don’t depend on bookings; the unlock itself pays.

When the money arrives

Booking shares land as pending credit first and become spendable once the partner confirms the commission, usually after the stay or activity happens. Cancelled or refunded bookings reverse. Spot unlock earnings post immediately. Cash out to your bank, PayPal, Venmo or a gift card from $25, delivered by Tremendous.

Fair play

Earnings are for real bookings by real travelers. Self-referral schemes, fake bookings and click manipulation forfeit earnings and can close your account. Full details in our Terms of Service.
